For all the exchange students here in Mexico Ruta Maya is the most, or at least one of the most awaited moments during whole exchange. Ruta Maya is a trip, organized by Rotary to the southern and eastern parts of the country. Usually the trip takes place rather in the end of the stay here but this year we had it from 25th of November to 9th of December. The whole trip lasted 15 days and it was a really wonderful time! We started Ruta Maya in the morning on 25th od November. We went by bus to Campeche when we met our friends that live in other mexican states – Tlaxcala , Morelos, Guerrero and Veracruz. During the whole trip we visited many cities and apart we visited a lot of archeological places such as Chichen Itza, Zona Arqueologica de Tulum, Coba, Uxmal and Palenque.
